Cozy stay with great food!
So, we arrived late because of traffic, and the staff were super nice to whip up some fish and chips for us! Was a lifesaver after 6 hours on the road. The food was spot on, even the mushy peas were decent! The room was small but comfy. Just wish the bar had more drink options!

I felt right at home here, enjoying a cozy double room and the fantastic atmosphere. The garden was a perfect spot to unwind with a lovely drink and some fresh air. Only downside was the noise from the pub next door, but it didn't spoil my overall experience. 😊

Cozy atmosphere with charming decor reflecting local history gives this place a unique vibe. Generous tea and coffee supplies make settling in quite pleasant, turning the room into a little haven after a long day.
Noise from the bar can get distracting, especially on weekends, so if you're looking for a quiet retreat, this might not be ideal. There's an unexpected downside with breakfast. it's advertised but not available, which can be a letdown if you're planning your morning around it. watch out for the limited towel supply in rooms—having to share with a buddy could leave you wanting more. Those using the shared bathrooms might find cleanliness can vary, so it’s worth checking before your turn.
